TRX Rip Trainer Class
This is a great new piece of equipment, which really challenges the Core. Here are just a few ways it is different than traditional training methods:
Trains the Core in all planes (Sagittal, Frontal and Transverse).
Crunches… one plane of motion.
Side Plank… one plane of motion.
Most Core training programs fall short of training athletes in all 3 planes of motion. These 3 planes MUST be trained to attain maximum sports performance and prevention of injury. Even suspension training falls short of challenging the rotational component of the Core.
The TRX Rip Trainer can challenge all 3 planes of motion within a 30-minute workout.
Trains not only concentric contractions, but isometrics as well
The Core is group of muscles with the main function being to resist motion. Isometric (non-motion) and eccentric (lengthening) contraction are a major part of this function. The TRX Rip Trainer has the unique ability to combine explosive, upright contractions as well as combining complex movements with isometric Core contractions.
In short, the TRX Rip Trainer combines the explosive nature of upright rotational sports with injury preventing isometric and eccentric contractions. It is a complete Core workout. Great for baseball, tennis, golf and other similar sports.
Trains the core while your standing upright
“Functional training” is the method of training where it correlates to everyday life functions. Why would you want to spend hours training your body activities your body will never encounter? Most people want to be able to live their life to the fullest and minimize probability of injuries. Their core training program should be “functional.”
How many times in a day do you lay on the ground with the need to perform a crunching motion? Almost never!
The function of the Core is to create an area of stability for motion of the arms and legs… and for most of us this is needed while standing. If you are upright all day, why not train your body to perform at its best while upright?
The TRX Rip Trainer accomplishes this. It is a fully upright Core training program, created for your type of life (not a wrestler’s).
